Journal To Discover The Power Of Extended Family

Avoid the dysfunctional vision of family. Build a vision that uses the power of family. Use a Journal to help you see beyond the conflicts. Mine the conflicts for insights. Evaluate the contributions of family members. Use your journal to establish the value of family members. Use a journal to build a guiding vision of family.

While you record the present family events, look for opportunities to build upon them. Focus upon how family can provide mutual aid and support. Note how well is the family able to respond to both adversity and opportunity. Record how the family grows its power. Make note of how individual members make contributions to the family. Keep track of what unifies family and what takes away from unity. Pass on the journal so that it can serve as a legacy.
