Journaling For Stronger Families

The Holidays may have provided an excellent opportunity to pick up journaling ideas.
Pictures taken can be added to your Journal. Combine scrapbook items with writing to make your family journal enjoyable and pleasant to the eye. You may have a taken a picture that is worth a thousand words.

Maybe you are not the journaling type. However, probably someone in the family is a capable writer and or scrapbook type. Use this as an opportunity to form a working alliance. Maybe, you are the idea person and another family member is a pack rat or maybe another takes great family photos. Combine your efforts. Maybe you can work separately most of the time and combine your efforts at a later date. A strong family finds ways to combine each others interests and assets. Journaling is another way to do things together.

The Good Sons way of journaling includes acting like a team. Journaling offers an opportunity to make a contribution towards family strength. The Good Sons way of journaling uses the concept of the Dynamic Family Table to provide meaning, purpose and direction to the effort. That is, a focus upon recording how family can provide mutual aid and support. A Good Sons Journal explores the principles of: Growth - Contribution- Unity. & Contribution
