Merit vs Nepotism
Merit & Nepotism are the yin and yang of achievement.
While both seem in conflict with the other; it is often hard to see where one ends and the other begins.
Within a system based upon merit; you will find at least some nepotism. Likewise, you will find some merit within a system based upon nepotism.
Each has its own excess. Both may serve virtue or vice!
