Should we be able to eliminate estate taxes, we will go a long way to encourage strong families. Families which will be able to deal with adversity and take advantage of opportunities. We allow corporations to grow financially large. However, we limit a family's ability to pass on wealth. Americans for Fair Tax offers an alternative.

Hurricane Katrina & Lessons On Family

An adversity as powerful as Hurricane Katrina helps raise some important questions about the power of family:
  • What family type is better at coping? How does single parent compare to two parent & how do each of these compare with an extended family type?
  • Is the resilience of an extended family greater then other family types?
  • Would a family that has already been practicing the art of mutual aid & support fare better then most?
